Jefferson Barracks Telephone Museum

Jefferson Barracks Telephone Museum is at 12 Hancock Ave., at the southern end of Jefferson Barracks Historic Park. Housed in a restored building dating from 1896, it features a collection of telephones—from vintage late 19th-century examples to contemporary phones—as well as telephone-related memorabilia and military telephones used from World War II through the Vietnam War. Hands-on displays encourage visitors to explore the engineering aspects of telephone operation.
