Bear Paw Battlefield-Nez Perce National Historical Park

Bear Paw Battlefield-Nez Perce National Historical Park is off US 2, 16 mi. s. on CR 240, following signs. Chief Joseph, leader of the Nez Perce Indians, surrendered to Col. Nelson A. Miles on this site Oct. 5, 1877. A 1.5-mile walking trail is available. Blaine County Museum serves as the park's visitor center.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
