Chief Plenty Coups State Park is 1 mi. w. off SR 416 following signs to 1 Edgar/Pryor Rd. A museum features relics and interpretive displays that describe Crow Indian culture and Chief Plenty Coups, the tribe's last traditional chief. The Crow leader is buried near his home at nearby Medicine Spring.

Fishing opportunities are available. Day of Honor, an event featuring speakers and cultural activities, takes place Labor Day weekend.

Picnicking is permitted.

$6 (nonresidents per private vehicle); $4 (nonresidents arriving by other means); free (Montana residents with ID).
Park open daily 8-8, mid-May to late Sept.; Wed.-Sun. 8-5, rest of year. Visitor center open daily 10-5, mid-May to late Sept.; Wed.-Sun. 10-5, rest of year. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 1 hour minimum.
