Ninepipe and Pablo National Wildlife Refuges

Ninepipe and Pablo National Wildlife Refuges are 4 mi. s. of Ronan off US 93, and 3 mi. n. of Pablo off US 93 then 1 mi. w. on Reservoir Rd., respectively. Each refuge covers more than 2,000 acres. Primarily of interest to bird-watchers, these areas are inhabited by 180 species of ducks, geese and other grassland and water birds. A cooperative state, federal and tribal wildlife-viewing area is at Ninepipe National Wildlife Refuge.
