Rosalie

Rosalie is at 100 Orleans St. This large, brick Federal-style mansion was built around 1820 near the former site of the French Fort Rosalie. The house served as a local headquarters for the Union Army during the Civil War and contains its original 1850s furniture. Surrounding the mansion are the 4-acre, formal Rosalie Historic Gardens, which back up to a 6-acre meadow overlooking the Mississippi River.

The house can be visited by guided tour only.
