Our Lady of the Rockies is atop the Continental Divide; tours to the site depart from the Plaza Mall, 3100 Harrison Ave. The 90-foot-high statue of the Virgin Mary—a nondenominational tribute to motherhood—took 6 years to build and was airlifted into place in 1985. Visitors may step inside the metal structure. The road to the statue is not open to public traffic. A chapel observatory is available.
