AAA Inspector Notes
This is one of the original hotels built by railroad magnate J.J. Hill to provide lodging for turn-of-the-century visitors from the East wishing to explore the park. It still serves that purpose. Train service makes scheduled stops here. Accommodations include converted cabooses, locomotives and cabins. This is a rustic experience for the hiker, fly-fisherman or casual visitor. Outdoor dining is offered. Not evaluated. Facilities, services, and décor characterize a mid-scale property.
