Northwest Montana Historical Society's Museum at Central School

Northwest Montana Historical Society's Museum at Central School is at 124 Second Ave. E. Exhibits housed in a renovated 1894 school building cover such topics as Native American culture, the history of the Flathead Valley and the timber industry. Noteworthy is an exhibit about pioneer trapper-turned-legislator Frank Bird Linderman, who documented northwest Montana's Native American culture through sculpture and writings.
