Fort Howe Lookout

Fort Howe Lookout is at 20 Magazine St. It was built as a British army fortification in 1777 to protect the vital Saint John River area from American privateers and native unrest. A reconstructed blockhouse overlooks the city, and lookouts offer a magnificent panoramic view of the harbor and city.
