Located in the heart of downtown, this former bank building was completely reimagined and transformed into a hotel offering upscale rooms outfitted in “modern mountain” décor with Art Deco nods. Commissioned artwork by western NC artists adorns the airy public areas and guest rooms, celebrating nature and local scenes. Views of the cityscape and the mountains beyond are afforded by floor-to-ceiling windows in every room. Rooms also feature plump bedding, large work spaces, minibars stocked with gourmet snacks from local purveyors, and spacious bathrooms with walk-in showers.
