President James K. Polk State Historic Site

President James K. Polk State Historic Site, 2.5 mi. s. of I-485 exit 65 on Old US 521 (Lancaster Hwy.), preserves the birthplace of James K. Polk, 11th president of the United States. A 12-minute film in the museum and displays in the visitor center depict his life.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
