Looking Glass Falls, off US 276 about 5 mi. past the south entrance to Pisgah National Forest, can be viewed from a walkway or the roadside. When it freezes, the 60-foot waterfall takes on the appearance of a mirror.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
