Dickinson Dinosaur Museum Center is off I-94 exit 61, 1 blk. s. on SR 22, then 2 blks. e. to 188 E. Museum Dr. The center includes buildings, museums and a park. The Dinosaur Museum houses a colorful mineral collection, hundreds of fossils and a large collection of real dinosaur fossils, including six full skeletons and a complete Triceratops skull. Joachim Museum contains regional art and history exhibits; the Pioneer Machinery Building displays county ranching and agricultural history exhibits; and the Prairie Outpost Park has five historic and six reproduction buildings. Interpretive exhibits and guided tours help tell the story of the state's early settlers, their struggles and their celebrations.
