Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is off I-80 exit 426, then .5 mi. n. to 28210 West Park Hwy. Regarded as one of the nation's leading facilities of its kind, the museum houses an extensive collection of aircraft, missiles and spacecraft, including the B-1, B-52, FB-111 and Vulcan bombers; a MiG-21 fighter jet; an SR-71 high-speed reconnaissance plane; and an Apollo 009 space capsule. The history of the nation's Strategic Air Command also is presented. In the restoration hangar's observation gallery, visitors may watch warplanes being restored for display.

The museum features a Children’s Learning Center with interactive learning displays, theaters and state-of-the-art, 2-D and 3-D virtual-reality 360-degree flight simulators. Traveling exhibits, monthly events, camps and overnights are offered throughout the year.
