Bristlecone Pine Forest in Great Basin National Park consists of 150 acres of trees considered to be among the oldest living things on Earth. Groves include Mount Washington, the largest, where the pines exceed 40 feet; Wheeler Peak, the most accessible; and Eagle Peak, on the steep ridge between Snake and Baker creeks.
