AAA Editor Notes
Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is at 3700 W. Flamingo Rd. (off-Strip, just w. of I-15). This Rio de Janeiro-themed resort debuted in 1990 as the city's first all-suite hotel. Brazilian bossa nova legend Sérgio Mendes was the showroom's opening headliner.

Nearly 30 years later, the sprawling casino floor still looks fairly sharp (new carpet has helped), and the sleek iBar Lounge is a nice addition. Fans of skimpy cocktail waitress outfits will discover Rio delivers in spades. The sportsbook boasts some of the comfiest, over-sized leather chairs in town. And the game tables see plenty of action, especially every summer when thousands of players descend on the hotel for the World Series of Poker . The Rio also is home to Guy Fieri’s El Burro Borracho restaurant, magicians/comedians Penn & Teller , the VooDoo ZipLine and KISS by Monster Mini Golf.
