AAA Editor Notes
Fundy Trail is 30 km (19 mi.) e. off Hwy. 111. This multi-use parkway follows the northern coast of the Bay of Fundy between St. Martins and Fundy National Park, offering spectacular views of the Quaco Head Lighthouse, Melvin and Pangburn beaches, Fuller Falls and unspoiled coastal habitats. A 19-kilometre (12-mi.) low-speed roadway offers scenic lookout points; 16 kilometres (10 mi.) of walking and bicycling trails include footpaths leading to beaches and river estuaries.

At the Big Salmon River Interpretive Centre visitors can cross a suspension foot bridge to see old wharfs and sluices, reminders of the area's former lumbering days. The center has a video presentation and displays artifacts pertaining to local history; a man-powered sawmill demonstrates early logging techniques. Staff members give talks about this scenic region.

Two- and 4-hour guided walking tours are offered.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
