AAA Editor Notes
Iron Furnace Interpretive Center is off I-93 exit 38 near jct. SRs 18 and 117. This park on the Gale River features historical exhibits centered on Franconia's early iron industry. Included are a scale model of the furnace and cast house, production tools and outdoor interpretive panels. Remains of the original stone stack across the river can be viewed from the park.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
