Watching these future chefs in-training is always so inspiring to me and the food is top-notch, at a price I feel is worth paying.
AAA Inspector Notes
This is a real-world learning lab for students of the Culinary Institute of America in the heart of their campus. This traditional French restaurant features many modern twists. The 3-course menu features regionally sourced ingredients at an excellent price. Seasonally changing specialties may include black truffle soup, roasted rack lamb, and duck breast with blood orange sauce. For those interested in watching the chefs in action, request a table by the window that overlooks the kitchen. The restaurant offers an exemplary French wine list along with hand-crafted cocktails. The smoked Manhattan is a particular favorite of most diners. The elegant main dining room features a view of the glass-walled wine cellar and showcases large, modern chandeliers that are accompanied by decorative wall sconces in the shape of a chef's hat.
