City Hall is in City Hall Park with entrances on Broadway and Murray Street or on the east side at Park Row. Near this spot, in the presence of Gen. George Washington, the Declaration of Independence was read to the Army on July 9, 1776.
Tours depart Wed. at noon. Visitors may sign in 10-11:30 at the NYC tourism kiosk located at the southern end of City Hall Park on the east side of Broadway at Barclay Street. Space is limited, so arrive early.
