AAA Inspector Notes
The road from home in Chicago to New York led through Paris for star chef Daniel Rose who used the French capital as a career launching pad for the US. Cooking professionally for the first time in America, in downtown Manhattan, Chef Rose’s contemporary versions of favorite dishes stand out and hit high contemporary notes which positively sing with true emotion. The entrecôte Bourguignon, his signature lobster in au poivre sauce, or delectable foie gras confit with figs, all strongly register. This gem of a restaurant is beautifully romantic like few others in town, with a refined sophistication that reminds a diner of a dreamy evocation of Paris as it perhaps only exists in our fantasies. Service staff have cosmopolitan flair and are brimming with that rare confidence of one who knows they're bringing something highly-prized and most desirable to the table.
