Popular British chef April Bloomfield serves up a rustic and very creative menu that may include items like seafood sausage, lamb burgers with feta cheese, ever-changing savory terrines, as well as a chicken and ham hock pie. There are also a few more familiar items like black sea bass and NY strip steak. All of the food here is excellent. The breakfast is very popular and you should expect to wait for a table in the dimly lit dark wood dining room which has a sophisticated energy all its own. Guest chefs, some renowned, regularly come in from out of town and do exclusive prix-fixe menus. They are worth seeking out.
