Tucked away among the million dollar town homes on the Upper East Side, this quaint little café traces its origins to popular sandwich shops in Milan, Italy. The classic panini is taken to new heights here with authentic Italian cured meats, various imported cheeses and a few less common sandwich ingredients like wild boar and pâté. The menu rounds out with great salads and a few entrées. The cappuccino and gelato are also a big draw. The café can be a good stop for a quick bite or coffee break when visiting Central Park or the nearby Museum Mile.
