No need to travel to Vienna for an artistic Mozart chocolate kugel or soul-satisfying apfel strudel. One of my favorites for a sweet indulgence.

There is a charming Bohemian feel to this authentically European restaurant, which delivers a relaxed upscale experience on a residential corner in the heart of the West Village. Guests are treated to modern interpretations of traditional Austrian dishes that are well-prepared and enjoyably presented. The menu has variety and can be paired with some exceptionally good small appellation Austrian wines. Servers are graciously warm and attentive. Desserts are not to be missed.
