Mount Washington Observatory Weather Discovery Center

Mount Washington Observatory Weather Discovery Center is at 2779 White Mountain Hwy. Interactive exhibits explore the science of climate and weather. Visitors can speak with meteorologists at the Mount Washington summit, forecast the weather in a mock television studio, and learn how tornadoes form. Mount Washington is said to have some of the world's most extreme weather, and the observatory plays an important role in recording and researching atmospheric conditions.
