New Mexico Museum of Space History is 2 mi. e. of US 54/70 via Indian Wells Rd. to Scenic Dr., left on Scenic Dr. to SR 2001, then right to 3198 SR 2001. This large complex includes the museum, Stapp Air and Space Park, the Astronaut Memorial Garden, the International Space Hall of Fame and the Daisy Track. Exhibits honor pioneers from many nations and include international space program items. A special display chronicles the pivotal role that New Mexico plays in the ongoing race to space. A Smithsonian affiliate, the museum serves as the archive for Spaceport America.

Featuring a state-of-the-art 4K laser planetarium projection system, the New Horizons Dome Theater and Planetarium presents giant-screen films, digital planetarium shows and live star talks. The Air & Space Park feature a high-speed sled, rocket engines and missiles.
