Holocaust & Intolerance Museum of New Mexico is at 616 Central Ave. S.W. Dedicated to eliminating hate and intolerance and promoting understanding through education, the museum's documents, photographs, artifacts and exhibits illustrate how ethnic intolerance engenders global conflict. Exhibits depict the Holocaust, Native American persecution, the African American experience and the Rwandan, Armenian and Greek genocides. A new exhibit, Hate in America, provides an historical perspective of hate crimes in the United States.
