Santa Fe National Cemetery

Santa Fe National Cemetery is 1.5 mi. n. of The Plaza on US 285 at 501 N. Guadalupe St. Originally the military post cemetery, the site contains the graves of soldiers from the Indian Wars as well as those killed in the battles of Pigeon's Ranch and Valverde during the Civil War. It also is the final resting place for nine Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.
