High Point Museum

High Point Museum, 1859 E. Lexington Ave., presents city history through exhibits and hands-on programs. Galleries feature artifacts, images and stories from Colonial through contemporary times, including High Point's emergence as a furniture manufacturing center. Three 18th-century buildings stand in an adjacent historical park.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
