Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve

Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve is at 701 W. Ocean Acres Dr. The 1,111-acre preserve is home to more than 50 species of birds and more than 300 species of plants. Visitors can explore 5 miles of trails offering scenic views and varied flora and fauna. Trail maps are available at the information counter.

Leashed pets are permitted on some trails.
