Lazy 5 Ranch, 10 mi. e. on SR 150 to 15100 Mooresville Rd., contains more than 750 animals such as deer, elk, antelopes, giraffes, ostriches, emus, rheas, white rhinos and zebras. Visitors may drive through the ranch via a 3.5-mile path or opt for a horse-drawn wagon ride; either affords the opportunity to pet and feed the animals. A petting zoo and blacksmith shop are on the grounds.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
