Morehead City Ferry Service

Morehead City Ferry Service, departing from 709 Shepard St., offers a scenic and narrated ferry ride to Sand Dollar Island aboard a 49-passenger catamaran. Once there, tours are self-guided, and guests are able to see, touch and learn about native marine creatures. Stops along the way offer visitors the chance to search for and collect sand dollars. A sunset cruise also is available.
