Since 1946, four generations of the Owens family have run this charming seaside spot. The dining rooms have the romantic look of turn-of-the-century parlors with knotty-pine paneling and walls full of nautical antiques and local memorabilia. The menu offers coastal Southern cuisine, with signature dishes such as jumbo lump crab cakes, sausage and shrimp grits, steak Oscar and live lobster. Of course all meals are accompanied by the famous hushpuppies and a crock of cheese with crackers.
