Kaleideum Downtown is at 390 S. Liberty St. This hands-on museum features interactive, themed galleries where kids can shop for groceries in a supermarket, explore playhouses in a storybook forest, send doughnuts down a conveyor belt, climb a beanstalk to the second floor and create props and costumes in The Prop Shop. Exhibits focus on literature, storytelling and the arts.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
