Roosevelt Park and Zoo

Roosevelt Park and Zoo is .7 mi. e. on US 2B at 1219 Burdick Expwy. E. The zoo features animals from around the world, including warthogs, reticulated giraffes, African black-footed penguins, red pandas, river otters, gibbons and snow leopards, as well as farm animals in the children's zoo. The park grounds incorporate flower gardens, footbridges, duck ponds, a swimming pool and a waterslide. The Magic City Express, a custom-built 2/5 scale model replica of a Great Northern steam locomotive, runs through the park.
