Discovery Centre is at 1215 Lower Water St. Nova Scotia's interactive science center presents permanent and changing displays, workshops and shows about science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM). There are more than 70 hands-on exhibits, including a build-your-own glider display, a 3-D printer, a bubble park (where you can make a giant bubble around yourself), water-based activities in the Oceans exhibit, and a building center with thousands of LEGO and Duplo bricks. Visitors can see star shows and films in the Dome Theatre.

Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.

Admission
$12; $10 (ages 3-18, ages 65+ and students with ID); $40 (family, two adults and two children); free to all (Wed. 5-8). Dome Theatre shows $2; tickets are only available to guests who have bought Discovery Centre admission.
Hours
Daily 10-5 (also Wed. 5-8). Closed Jan. 1, Good Friday, Nov. 11 and Dec. 25-26.
