Harbour Hopper Tours departs from the parking lot on the n. side of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Sightseeing tours of Halifax are conducted in Lark V vehicles, boats used by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War that are capable of transportation on both land and water. Refitted for tourism use, the green amphibious vehicles take passengers past sights such as Citadel Hill and the Halifax Public Gardens before splashing into the harbor for views of the Halifax and Dartmouth skylines. Guides provide commentary and fun facts about the area during the 1-hour tour.
