K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre & Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens

K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre & Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens is off University Ave. on the campus of Acadia University. The 2-hectare (6-acre) botanical gardens consist of internationally significant facilities for botanical and environmental research, public gardens representing native plant communities of the Acadian Forest Region, a glassed-in winter garden and a garden of medicinal and food plants.

The science center features greenhouses, a conservatory and botanical laboratories.

Nature trails and picnic areas are available.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
