The Palazzo is at 3325 Las Vegas Blvd. S. An extension of its sister hotel, The Venetian, The Palazzo eschews the cheap buffet and bachelor party crowd in favor of an opulent Italian esthetic. The hotel suites, with their sunken living rooms and super-size baths, are ultra plush.
The casino is, well, just another casino, but certainly spiffier than some of the neighborhood's aging gaming floors. The classy lobby gets high marks for its domed skylight and translucent fountain sculptures. Adjacent high-end shopping, a glut of fine dining and the comfy Lagasse's Stadium sportsbook (where celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse runs the show and closes shop early if there's not a big game on TV) round out the list of luxury features.
