Boscobel

Boscobel is 8 mi. n. of Bear Mountain Bridge on SR 9D in the Hudson River Valley. The facade of the restored 1808 New York Federal-style mansion has three unusual draperies of carved wood. Other features include trompe l'oeil wallpaper, period furniture, china and silver. The grounds offer a panorama of the Hudson River Highlands and contain a gatehouse, springhouse, orangery, herb garden and woodland trail of discovery.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
