Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park

Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park is off I-81 exit 22, following signs to 1 Conservation Pl. The zoo is home to more than 700 animals including Asian elephants, Humboldt penguins and Amur tigers. Highlights include Adaptation, home to nocturnal animals, and the half-mile Wildlife Trail that offers views of white-lipped deer, gray and red wolves, red pandas, snow leopards, Amur tigers and Andean bears.
