I find the rooftop lounge is the perfect spot to view the fireworks display over the Cincinnati Reds stadium and enjoy my favorite beverage.
AAA Inspector Notes
This hotel is in a beautifully renovated brick building (note the stained glass windows in the lobby). The Phelps Bar, on the rooftop, is an excellent place for a summer view of downtown Cincinnati. Though the hotel is downtown and near I-71, you'll find the property's courtyard is a quiet little nook with a fountain and a gas grill. The hotel is located in a charming old neighborhood (Lytle Park Historic District) near the Taft Museum of Art. Directly across the street is a small park graced by a large statue of Abraham Lincoln. One can walk to downtown and (in good weather) to the Cincinnati Reds Stadium. Monday through Wednesday, the hotel has a manager's reception.
Smoke free premises. 134 units, some two bedrooms, efficiencies and kitchens. 12 stories, interior corridors.
