Garfield Memorial

Garfield Memorial, 12316 Euclid Ave., is in Lake View Cemetery at the tomb of President James A. Garfield and his wife, Lucretia Rudolph Garfield. The 285-acre cemetery also contains the graves of Marcus Alonzo Hanna, U.S. senator 1897-1904; industrialist John D. Rockefeller, who at the time of his death in 1937 was the world's richest person; and crime fighter Eliot Ness, who died in 1957. The cemetery maintains more than 100 varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers.
