Robbins Hunter Museum is at 221 E. Broadway. The museum is in the 1842 Avery-Downer House, a classic example of the temple form of Greek Revival architecture. Guided tours interpret the architecture, the collection and the stories of the people who lived here. Also featured is a monument to businesswoman Victoria Woodhull (the first woman to run for President of the United States in 1872), perennial gardens and a bakery. Special events take place on the grounds throughout the year.
