AAA Editor Notes
Miamisburg Mound is at 900 Mound Ave. The prehistoric remains that form the largest conical mound in Ohio are on the grounds. The structure—65 feet high with a circumference of 800 feet—is believed to have been built by the prehistoric Adena Indians (800 B.C.-A.D. 100). Visitors can climb the 116 steps to get a view from the top.

Picnicking is permitted.
