American Banjo Museum

American Banjo Museum is at 9 E. Sheridan Ave. in Bricktown. The museum traces the history of the banjo from its slavery roots through the minstrel and jazz periods to its current place in bluegrass and folk music. The museum's collection includes nearly 400 examples of the musical instrument. A hall of fame honors banjo pioneers and contemporary artists.
