Black Creek Pioneer Village, 1.5 km (.9 mi.) s.e. of jct. Regional Rd. 7 (Hwy. 7) and Hwy. 400 at Jane St. and Steeles Ave. W., is an 1860s living-history village of 40 carefully restored buildings, including a school, church, doctor's house and mill with a water wheel. Costumed educators demonstrate heritage trades and crafts, and engage visitors in related activities. Special events in the village are offered throughout the season.

Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
