Edwards Gardens and the Toronto Botanical Garden

Edwards Gardens and the Toronto Botanical Garden, 3.5 km (2.2 mi.) s. of Hwy. 401 exit 373 at Lawrence Ave. E. and Leslie St., has 17 themed gardens, including rock gardens, floral displays, a greenhouse and a flower-bordered path along the Don River on its 14 hectares (35 acres). The Toronto Botanical Gardens provide horticultural information, contemporary gardens and interactive opportunities as well as housing a research library. Special events are held throughout the year, including an organic farmers market on Thursday afternoons.

Bicycles and dogs are not permitted. Food is available May through October.
