Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art, 111 Queen's Park Ave., houses a collection of 15th- through 18th-century ceramic pieces. Works include pre-Columbian, containing Olmec and Mayan figures and objects from cultures in Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru; Italian Renaissance majolica (1400-1600); English delftware (1600-1700); Continental and English porcelain (1700-1800); and Minton china (1800).

The updated European Porcelain Gallery also has been enhanced with “stories of intrigue.” Canadian ceramic art and changing exhibitions also are featured. "Salon21” on some Fridays pairs music and literary events.

Guided tours are available. Food is available.
