Gibson House Museum, 5172 Yonge St. at Park Home Ave., is a Georgian-style brick house restored to the period of 1851. Furnishings and artifacts reflect the life of Scottish emigrant David Gibson, a surveyor and political figure, and that of his wife and family. Many special events reflecting seasonal themes and Scottish foods and Victorian entertainment are offered throughout the year. The Discovery Gallery features interactive displays. Guided 45-minute tours by costumed interpreters are available.
